Grocery shopping takes on a whole new meaning when you are choosing fruit and vegetables for their aesthetics, rather than your menu plan.
Most rarely stand up to a few days under the hot studio lights - they wrinkle and mold and decay too quickly.
This wanton destruction of good, edible food in the name of art sparked the idea for the series of charcoal still life drawings Carbon Footprints, some of which are in the portfolio below.
